💬 Do I need to install PrinterStats on every PC?

You only need to install PrinterStats on one PC.
All printers on the same network are automatically detected and monitored.

🧩 Can it monitor printers on different subnets or VLANs?

Printers on sub-LANs can be added manually — and once reachable from that PC, PrinterStats monitors them just as seamlessly.

🪟 Can I install PrinterStats as a Windows Service for server environments?

Yes. PrinterStats can be installed as a Windows Service, allowing it to run continuously in server environments or where multiple users share the same system.
This ensures monitoring and alerts remain active even when no one is logged in. Administrator rights are required for this installation mode.

📶 Does PrinterStats work with Wi-Fi printers or USB-connected printers?

PrinterStats monitors any network-connected printer, including those connected via Wi-Fi.
USB-connected printers are not currently supported, as they are not accessible over the network.

🤝 Can notifications be shared with service providers and clients?

Yes. You can specify one or more email addresses (comma-separated) during installation, or ask your service provider to add them for you.
These addresses will receive low-toner and printer alert notifications based on your provider’s configuration.
